A Mina Bodega

We went without any expectations, we booked for ten o'clock and there were no problems at all, we knew we weren't going to expect a restaurant but we like cosy places with a more rustic atmosphere and tapas served our purpose well. We got there and were very well received, it was my birthday. They served us a kind of calamari, langostinos and zamburiñas that were delicious and cooked to perfection and a solomillo that was super tender.When the owner found out it was my birthday, he made a point of asking my boyfriend how old I was and surprising me by providing a cake and candles, joking that my boyfriend had spent a month preparing that surprise. He made us feel at home, told us to choose the music we wanted, and we mingled with the regular customers as if we were part of that place. It was worth choosing this place to celebrate my birthday, we had a really great time and I will never forget it. Thank you Pepe and Nina from Débora and Francisco from Portugal.We will be back.

Endearing winery where we ended up by chance, we were not disappointed by the price, nor the food, nor of course the attention of Pepe, a great person behind the establishment, where there is no lack of details nor the love placed on each one of them. Our quest was to sample local wines, and the proprietor had such passion that we sampled 3 very, very good wines. The Owners show that they love wines, cheese, and cured meats. A very pleasant surprise in Ourense that we'd recommend to anyone.

We were on our way home and we decided to drink a beer and cider. We decided to get something to eat as well. The owner suggested to try chorizo that just came in. The owner is very passionate about what he does. The food came out with some tomatoes topped off with olive oil and some bread. We ate the chorizo so fast, it was very delicious. The owner invited us to some shots and dessert. He gave us a tour of his bodega. We will be coming back!

This is the place to eat in Ourense for an authentic experience. It was exceptional!We are a couple looking for a good but unpretentious dinner and man was this an experience! The wine recommendation was excellent (regional) and went perfectly with our meals (10 euros pp). The host is extremely welcoming and really treats this place as his home. The interior looks like a cave - so unique and private. We had a fantastic time!There are so many tourist places that are there to rip you off, that it is refreshing to find a place where good food, good wine, friendly staff and authentic Galicia come together.Strongly recommended, we will be back!
